CFO Position at Bundanon: Strategic Financial Management and Leadership
Bundanon, a renowned art museum nestled in the picturesque Shoalhaven region of NSW, is currently seeking a Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to join its Senior Executive Team. The CFO will play a pivotal role in overseeing the financial management of Bundanon, ensuring compliance with reporting obligations and driving strategic financial planning.
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing government funding, commercial revenue, private giving, and philanthropic funds to optimize financial resources. They will work closely with the CEO and senior management to develop and execute financial strategies, budget submissions, and investment plans.
In addition to financial management, the CFO will also be involved in audit, governance, and reporting processes, ensuring transparency and compliance with regulatory frameworks. They will lead internal audit procedures, manage external auditor relationships, and drive financial compliance across the organization.
The ideal candidate will have relevant tertiary qualifications in finance or accounting, along with significant experience in senior financial management roles. Certification as a Chartered Accountant or Certified Practising Accountant is preferred, as well as proficiency in financial management software and systems.
